Scholarship Information and Application
Scholarships are provided through the generous supporters and individuals in order that any camper who would like to can attend camp at Annunciation Heights. There are limited funds available, so we ask that you carefully consider your request, in order to help us provide for everyone. A scholarship may be granted for one camp each summer for each of your children.
While Annunciation Heights wants to ensure that no child or youth be denied a camping experience because of financial difficulties, we do believe that every family should provide some dollar amount towards the total cost of the program. Typically, our scholarship fund offers no more than 2/3 of the total fee of the program. Some parishes and/or Knights of Columbus councils provide scholarships to assist their members in attending camps/retreats. Please check with your local church to see if they are able to provide assistance.
Need based scholarships will be considered on a first come basis. Applications will be considered on an individual basis, based on the following criteria:
- Illness in family
- Single parent family
- Low income
- Other serious extenuating circumstances
If your scholarship request is accepted, you will receive an email indicating the amount that has been awarded to you. Recipients are asked to write a thank you letter telling about their camp/ retreat experience. Letters should be addressed to “Dear Donor” and sent to Luke Hlavin at this address following the week at camp: 7400 State Highway 7, Estes Park, CO 80517. They will be forwarded to the appropriate donor and may be included in Annunciation Heights publicity materials. Complete the application below for consideration:
