The Race

Our first adventure race ever will have something for everyone, from first-time racers to seasoned athletes! This won’t be your average 5k however. As you run around the grounds of our beautiful camp there will be challenges. Get ready for an uphill log carry, archery, and more! The race will be split into two waves. The first will start at 3:00 for those with a competitive streak. The second wave will start 20 minutes later for those who want to take things a bit slower and just enjoy the adventure. Adventure awaits!

The Fest

Looking to get out of the house and into nature for a day? The Fiat Fest is the other half of our celebration. During and after the adventure run you can expect 100% fun. Awesome field games? We got them. Amazing barbecue? We’re making it. Ice cold drinks? We’re bringing them. Live music? You bet! You just bring yourself and your friends and we’ll bring the good times!

The Cause

Our Altum Institute Missionary Program is at the heart of what we do here at Annunciation Heights.  These missionaries do it all here on camp!…They serve as instructors for the JPII Outdoor Lab.  They serve as counselors and staff for our summer youth and family camps.  They serve as servant leaders for guests on camp. They truly are the beating heart of this place.  Support the missionary program as we seek to form young adults while giving them a meaningful mission to serve!

 Frequently Asked Questions

How are you hosting this event in a COVID environment?

Here at Annunciation Heights, we are taking great precautions to keep our guests safe.  The event will be held outdoors, both the race and the fest, where social distancing will be enforced and sanitizing procedures in place for all high touch surfaces to minimize the risk of exposure.  Racers will be spaced appropriately to allow for personal distance while running, and all festival activities will be hosted in accord with state and county guidelines.  See our COVID page for more details.

What happens if the event is canceled?  Will I get a refund?

Yes, in the event of cancellation, your fees will be refunded, with the small deduction of $4 to cover our credit card processing fees.

Who is this event geared towards? Can I bring my family?

The Fiat Fest is open to anyone and everyone who is a part of the extended AH family!  Do you want to come and run the race?  Then register for the adventure!  Do you want to come just hang out in the mountains, with good food and live music?  Then register for the fest alone!  It is open to individuals OR families.  We ask you to simply and prayerfully consider putting a portion of your tithe to a festival ticket. It is a fundraiser for a great cause! AND remember, children 12 and under are FREE!!!
